What You Need to Know

Pensacon 2022 will take place from Friday, February 18 to Sunday, February 20, 2022. The primary convention venue, the Pensacola Bay Center, is where ticketing, celebrity autographs and photo ops, and the vendor floor will be located.

Other official venues include the Rex Theatre, the Pensacola Little Theatre, Voices of Pensacola, and UWF Historic Trust Bowden Building, Voices of Pensacola, and De Luna Event Space, among others.

Most official events and activities will take place from 1-8pm Friday, 10am-6pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday. See the Venues page for specific venue hours and other details, and make sure you have the official Pensacon app on your smartphone during the convention.

Ticketing & Pass Pick-Up

Information about early pass pickup will be forthcoming.

If you wish to pick-up your pre-purchased weekend pass at the convention, they will be available to pick-up at the Pensacola Bay Center at Will Call as early as two hours before the convention opens on each day.

During Pensacon, all ticketing will take place at the Pensacola Bay Center.

Will call and sales will be available outside in front of the Bay Center one hour before the convention opens.

What to Bring

You will need your Purple Pass confirmation or your ID only if you are picking up at Will Call

Lots of cash! Not all vendors and celebrity guests accept credit cards, so plan to bring plenty of cash. Also, the parking lots outside the Bay Center that charge to park accept cash only. The ATMs inside the Bay Center are also susceptible to running out of cash throughout the weekend.

No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside the Bay Center. Food vendors will be located at the Pensacola Bay Center’s front entrance, and plenty of area restaurants will have special fandom-themed menus and drink specials throughout the weekend.

Celebrity Schedule

Unless noted, celebrity guests will be at their tables, available to meet fans, take photographs, autographs, etc. all three days. Autograph and photograph prices vary by celebrity. (We will make special announcements for those guests who will not be with us all three days, and any changes or cancellations will be posted on the Cancellations page.)

The celebrity guests will be located on the 2nd floor of the Pensacola Bay Center. The 2nd floor is accessible by the interior and exterior stairways.

The panel schedule and the photo op schedule will be available on both the app and on the website. Photo ops will be available for pre-purchase from Epic Photo Ops. See the Photo Ops page for details.

Parking & Trolley

The lot in back of the Bay Center off 9th Avenue is reserved for attendees with VIP passes, vendors, and media. You must have the appropriate passes to park in this lot. Handicapped parking is available in the front parking lot of the Bay Center off Alcaniz Street.

The gravel lot across Alcaniz Street from the Bay Center is available for attendees. Cost is $10 with no re-entry. Parking is also available throughout the city, and while prices may vary, the typical price is also $10.

Free trolleys for all Pensacon badge holders will be running throughout the downtown area one hour prior to Pensacon’s opening each day, and will run all day and into the evening on Friday and Saturday. Trolley stops will be announced closer to the dates of the convention.

See the Transportation page for more information.
