Howdy, I’m JC Wilson, a native Texan who moved to Pensacola May of 2011. Hook’em Horns!
Sports Journalist by trade but moved into radio advertising 19 years ago. I’m proud to say I’ve been a part of the Cat Country 98.7 / NewsRadio 92.3 / ESPN 99.1 family since March of 2014 as well as an Ambassador for the Pensacola Chamber since May 2019. What the Oscar is to the movie industry, is what the Marconi means to the radio industry. I’ve had the opportunity to be apart two radio groups that have won a combined four Marconi’s and nominated another seven times.
I absolutely enjoy being a story teller for our radio family. Every day, I have the opportunity to figure out fun unique ways to share your story with our community. Best part of my job, is meeting a new client, hearing about their marketing challenges then rolling up my sleeves and going to work in developing a creative fun campaign to share your story thus growing your brand.
Personally I enjoy using the Geico approach to marketing because you always hear people say “Have you seen the new Geico commercial? Man it’s a funny commercial.” My goal is for those same people to be saying that about your business. That’s the fun part of my career.
Everyone has a “Go To Guy” for different parts of their life…ie: Mechanic, Accountant, Financial Advisor…ect… I want to be your Marketing guy.
