  1. Description of Contest/Promotion.

  1. DATE OF CONTEST:  3/16/25 – 4/7/25
  2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.  Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend upon the skill in predicting the outcome of college basketball games.

  1. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the ESPN PENSACOLA 1330 PERFECT BRACKET CHALLENGE, Entrants must visit the ESPN-Pensacola website (www.ESPNpensacola.com), click on the Contest link to the ESPN Pensacola Bracket Challenge website and register to participate in the Contest.  After the men’s brackets are released to the public, ESPN Pensacola will send pre-registered Participants an invitation to complete a bracket in the “ESPN Pensacola” Group on ESPN.com which will consist of all the games in the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament (hereafter “Tournament”).  After the brackets are publicly released, the Contest link on the ESPN Pensacola website will link to ESPN.com entry place for the ESPN Pensacola Group so that Participants can “Join Group”.  All Entries must be submitted manually; Entries that appear to have been sent in via automation will be disqualified. The only means of entry will be this online method stated above.

  1. HOW TO PLAY

  1. ESPN Pensacola has created a “ESPN Pensacola Group” on the ESPN.com website called ESPN Pensacola where Participants can enter their bracket predictions.  Entries must be submitted before tip-off of the first game of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament or before the closing of the online entry process or when ESPN.com closes entries, whichever is sooner.  Participants will submit their predictions for the Tournament online by entering name, address, e-mail, phone, and other personal information.  The online bracket form must be completed in its entirety.

  1. Limit one entry per person.  Multiple entries will void ALL entries by that person.  Entry may not be modified or replaced after initial submission.

  1. Generally accepted odds of winning a perfect bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion based upon entirely random selection.  But true odds can be better based upon the Participant’s knowledge of college basketball and the likelihood of one great team beating a lesser team.  Odds of a Participant winning the Prize for the Best Pensacola Bracket depends on the number of Participants who submit entries and Participant’s skill.

  1. Entrants must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity prior to claiming any Prize(s).  Failure to do so before 5:30 pm CT on Thursday, May 8, 2025, will disqualify the Participant and result in forfeiture of all Prize(s). If a Participant does not claim the Prize(s) by 5:30 pm CT on May 8, 2025, and/or is not in compliance with these Official Rules (including eligibility requirements), Participant will be disqualified and will forfeit all Prize(s), and Prize(s) will not be awarded at all.

  1. Unless otherwise specified in the Prize notification, the Prizes(s) must be claimed  in person during regular business hours but no later than 5:30 pm CT on May 8, 2025, at the Station at 7251 Plantation Road, Pensacola, FL 32504.  The Contest winner is responsible for any transportation costs related to claiming the Prize(s).  The apparent Contest winner will forfeit any Prize or Prize certificate not claimed before 5:30 pm CT on May 8, 2025.

  1. The ESPN Pensacola 1330 Perfect Bracket Challenge will use the 2025 Tournament Bracket Challenge that is hosted by espn.com, and all ESPN.com rules will apply.  See

https://fantasy.espn.com/games/tournament-challenge-bracket-2025/howtoplay#CompleteRules

Any violation of these rule voids submissions and disqualifies the entry from the Contest.

  1. All decisions of station management with respect to the Contest are final.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

This is a local Contest sponsored by ESPN-Pensacola, and this local Contest has no connection to any other organization.  The Contest is open to all legal residents of the United States aged 21 or older who can prove they reside in Escambia County, FL, Santa Rosa County, FL, Okaloosa County, FL and Baldwin County, AL.  Winner(s) are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with all the rules.   Entrants may only qualify for the Prize and win for the duration of this contest.

  1. PRIZES

  1. The Grand Prize is $100,000 for submitting a 100% perfect bracket. $100,000 will be paid out after Participant’s eligibility is confirmed in equal installments of $10,000 per year beginning in 2025 for 10 years.  If more than one qualified Participant predicts a perfect bracket in the Contest, the Grand Prize will be awarded equally to all winners (i.e. if two people tie for the perfect bracket, they each receive $50,000) paid out over 10 years.

    2. The Pensacola Best Bracket Prize is dinner for two with ESPN Pensacola’s Jordan & Austin at Jackson’s Steakhouse during 2025 and will be awarded to the Best Pensacola Bracket winner based upon the score assigned by the ESPN Tournament Challenge. If there is a tie for best bracket, the tie-breaker will be the prediction of the final score of the tournament’s championship game as determined by the ESPN Bracket Challenge.  If a tie still remains after that tie-breaker, the winner will be determined by a single roll of two dice (per tied entry) with the highest number on the dice face prevailing.  In the event of tied rolls, subsequent rolls will be done until there is not a tie.  Only one Prize package will be awarded for the best bracket.
