Who says men can’t cook? Real men wear aprons for a cause! Come out and support girls in our community while treating your taste buds to a savory and sweet Sunday afternoon on April 7, 2019.
Men Who Cook is Pace’s signature, one-of-a kind tasting event and chef competition featuring men of our community – local businessmen, community leaders and all-around terrific guys – who believe in girls. The event showcases the talents of approximately 40 amateur chefs who prepare and serve everything from appetizers to desserts at their tasting stations to 300 attendees. The 7th Annual MEN WHO COOK presented by The Law Office of JJ Talbott features four categories of competition: Land, Sea, Sky and Sweet Endings. Each category awards a winning chef, and the overall “Top Chef” is chosen from these, as well as a “People’s Choice Award”. Past winning dishes include Bayou Crawfish Etouffee, Vietnamese Pho, Cherry Smoked Corned Beef Sliders, Key Lime Coconut Mousse and Mocha Chocolate Icebox Cake, to name a few. This annual fundraiser features live music, a wine and martini wall and both a silent and live auction. Tickets are $60 and include unlimited bites and complimentary wine & beer.
MEN WHO COOK is a flagship fundraiser that supports the operational costs of Pace Center for Girls Escambia – Santa Rosa. MEN WHO COOK sponsorships, ticket sales and auctions all help Pace provide girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.
An annual sell-out! Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance!
